CELSIUS PERFORMANCE GLASS

Celsius Performance glass may just make all other glass obsolete. It delivers the ideal balance of solar control and high visibility, and it provides the highest levels of comfort and energy savings. The secret? An unprecedented 3 layers of silver. The result is a clear coating that blocks even more solar heat gain and reflects more heat, while still allowing the visible light to stream in. All of this with a minimum of exterior or reflectance, and without the heavy bronze or smoke-colored tint so often associated with glass structures. More information>

OPAL HEAT GUARD

The advantages of using Opal Heatguard in your conservatory roof go far beyond its economical price. It reflects most of the suns radiation, shields you from the glare of direct sunlight, and masks the buildup of leaves and debris by diffusing visible light transmission. Layers of air chambers provide insulation while also providing your conservatory roof with exceptional durability, making Opal Heatguard extremely safe. In fact, it is 200 times stronger than glass. If you happen to have large trees hanging over your new conservatory, you may find this fact quite reassuring!

Performance Properties:
Winter U-Value:   .28
Solar Heat Gain Coefficient:   .26
Visible Light Transmission:   7%
Damaging UV Transmission:   <2%
R-Value:   3.55

*Note: In common with all glazed structures, tempurature reduction under night time or cooler weather conditions will lead to the possibility of condensation. Although the inclusion of thermal breaks on all major assemblies minimizes the risk, the use of background heating is also important, as is the utilization of adequate ventilation. Provisions to maintain an internal temperature between 10-15 degrees above the external ambient temperature is recommended.
